Brand Review

The Brand Review step in Conversionzign allows you to review and refine the brand elements that were automatically extracted from your website URL. This step ensures your redesign maintains brand consistency while allowing for adjustments to improve conversion rates.

What Happens in the Brand Review Step

After submitting your website URL in the Project Details step, Conversionzign automatically analyzes your existing website to extract key brand elements:

  1. Brand Colors: Primary, secondary, and accent colors from your current site

  2. Logo: Your company logo, extracted as an image

  3. Typography: Font styles detected on your website (when possible)

  4. Brand Elements: Other distinctive visual elements from your site

The Brand Review step presents these extracted elements for your review and allows you to make adjustments if needed.

The Brand Review Interface

The Brand Review interface is divided into several sections:

Color Palette

  • Displays the primary and secondary colors extracted from your website

  • Shows how these colors will work together in your redesign

  • Allows you to adjust colors using a color picker or hex code input

  • Provides recommendations for complementary colors if needed

Logo

  • Shows the extracted logo

  • Allows you to confirm the extracted logo or upload a different one

  • Provides options for logo placement in the redesign

Typography

  • Displays detected fonts from your website (when possible)

  • Offers recommendations for font pairings if fonts couldn't be detected

  • Allows you to select alternative fonts from a curated library

  • Shows previews of how different font choices affect readability

Making Adjustments

During the Brand Review, you can:

  1. Confirm Extracted Elements: Accept the automatically detected brand elements

  2. Modify Colors: Adjust any colors that weren't correctly identified

  3. Replace Logo: Upload a different logo file if the extracted one isn't suitable

  4. Select Fonts: Choose different fonts if the detected ones don't match your brand

Brand Consistency vs. Conversion Optimization

Sometimes, there may be tension between brand consistency and conversion optimization. Conversionzign provides:

  • Conversion Notes: Suggestions for adjustments that might improve conversion rates

  • Brand Consistency Ratings: Indicators of how close your selections are to your original brand

  • Preview Options: Ways to visualize different approaches

Best Practices

When reviewing your brand elements:

  • Stay Consistent: Maintain your core brand identity to preserve recognition

  • Consider Contrast: Ensure text is readable against background colors

  • Balance Brand and Conversion: Consider strategic adjustments that maintain brand identity while improving performance

  • Check Color Accessibility: Verify that your color choices meet accessibility standards

Previewing Changes

As you make adjustments, Conversionzign provides:

  • Real-time Previews: See how changes affect common UI elements

  • Sample Components: View buttons, headers, and other elements with your brand styling

  • Device Previews: Check how your brand elements will look on different screen sizes

Proceeding to the Next Step

Once you're satisfied with your brand elements:

  1. Review all sections to ensure everything is correctly configured

  2. Click "Next" to proceed to the Landing Page Type step

  3. Your confirmed brand elements will be applied to all subsequent design recommendations

Returning to Edit Later

If you need to adjust your brand elements later:

  1. Navigate back to the Brand Review step using the step indicator

  2. Make any necessary changes

  3. Continue through the wizard to update subsequent steps

By carefully reviewing and refining your brand elements, you create a strong foundation for a redesign that's both on-brand and conversion-optimized.
